Autotech Computing can provide a wide range of Mapping Services from Data collection, Paper Map scanning and conversion right through to integration to a full mapping system.

GIS Data Collection

At Autotech Computing we have extensive experience in collecting graphical information for use in Mapping system and we have invested heavily in providing the right tools to allow us to extract useful and accurate information from a paper map that can be used in production of an electronic mapping system. We are able to scan the map and then rectify the image and then convert it to vector format with very high degree of accuracy. In addition we can perform this task at far greater speed and accuracy than can be achieved by conventional digitizing techniques.

Map Conversion

We have Hitech solutions to be able to extract information from printed maps (Colour or Black & White), Geocorrect the data and provide a very accurate mapping database for insertion in to a standard mapping system.
